Set out miniature animals, trees, and so forth for a miniature scenario of the animal school. Let the children set up the scene on a large piece of oak tagboard. The tagboard will set the boundaries for the scene, and the materials can be left out for the children to rearrange all week.

Place puzzles of animals on the floor. A small bench may also be used for a table for the puzzles for children who need to be in an upright position to use their hands more freely.
